Steven B. Lindsey, CPA - Partner

Steven B. Lindsey is a managing partner of Lindsey ▪ Lindsey & Company, LLP Certified Public Accountants.  He has over 40 years of experience in public accounting.

Mr. Lindsey started his career in 1978 with the firm that is now Lindsey ▪ Lindsey & Company, LLP.  He has spent his career dedicated to the growth and success of the firm.  Mr. Lindsey’s extensive background in tax accounting includes working with high net worth individuals, trusts, gift taxes, privately held pass-through entities, multi-state corporations and not-for-profit organizations.  His expertise includes assisting clients with complex transactional business, mergers and acquisitions, structuring/restructuring, partner redemptions, land and commercial development, and other real estate dealings.  He also assists clients with income tax planning and compliance, multi-year and transaction tax matters, and conflict resolution with state and federal taxing authorities.

Mr. Lindsey’s many years of experience in the areas of auditing and accounting include due diligence, business planning, litigation support, business valuations, and financial reporting.  His industry experience includes manufacturing, wholesale and retail distribution, real estate professionals, development and construction, professional service organizations, retail services and technology related products and services.  Mr. Lindsey has assisted various clients from initial start up to eventual merger or sale of either the company or the products developed.
