Philip B. Lindsey, CPA - Partner

Philip B. Lindsey is a native of Rocky Mount and has over 40 years of experience in public accounting.  He is a managing partner of Lindsey ▪ Lindsey & Company, LLP in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Mr. Lindsey started his career in 1978 with the firm Lynch & Howard, now known as Frost, PLLC.  In November of 1985, he joined the firm that is now Lindsey ▪ Lindsey & Company, LLP Certified Public Accountants as a partner.  He has spent his career dedicated to the growth and success of the firm.  Mr. Lindsey’s extensive background in tax accounting includes working with high net worth individuals, trusts, gift taxes, privately held pass-through entities, multi-state corporations and not-for-profit organizations.  His expertise includes assisting clients with complex transactional business, mergers and acquisitions, structuring/restructuring, partner redemptions, land and commercial development, and other real estate dealings.  He also assists clients with income tax planning and compliance, multi-year and transaction tax matters, and conflict resolution with state and federal taxing authorities.

Mr. Lindsey’s many years of experience in the areas of auditing and accounting include due diligence, business planning, litigation support, business valuations, and financial reporting.  His industry experience includes manufacturing, wholesale and retail distribution, real estate development and construction, professional service organizations, retail services, and technology related products and services.  Mr. Lindsey has assisted various clients from initial start up to eventual merger or sale of either the company or the products developed.
